The Randolph Prairie Thunder beat the Quebec Fighting Quakers, 10-2, at Prairie Thunder Ballpark. The Prairie Thunder got a fine performance from designated hitter Mike Weiss, who was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 doubles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Brian Underwood got the win, improving to 12-4. He held the Fighting Quakers to 1 run on 4 hits over 8.2 innings, while striking out 3 and walking 2. Randolph is now 63-33.

With Randolph leading 2-0 in the bottom of the third, Weiss hit a sinker from Miguel Berrios for a 2-run double. It was his 13th double of the season and put the Prairie Thunder ahead, 4-0.
