Z's Earn 2-1 Win Versus Selects
The Ann Arbor Z's called upon starter Bobby Purdy, and he delivered, leading his team to victory over the Spokane Selects, 2-1. Salvatore Barajas notched his 4th save of the season. The win boosts the Z's to 40-54. The loss puts the Selects at 54-40.

Ann Arbor went up, 2-1, on Matt Leith's 4th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Leith hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Spokane pitcher Adam Williams shaking his head.

"Tough win," said Purdy. "We had to earn it."
