McDougal, Oaks March to 9-3 Victory
Oaks designated hitter Jeff McDougal put his stamp on his team's 9-3 win over the Randolph Prairie Thunder. McDougal went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4 for Orono in the contest. Orono reliever Kevin Hudspeth picked up the win, raising his record to 1-0. Brad Goodman was tagged with the loss. Randolph has now lost 5 in a row.

With Orono leading 6-2 in the bottom of the fifth, McDougal came up to bat against Randolph pitcher Roger Rosendahl. McDougal hit a slider to left for a 3-run home run. His 7th home run of the season put the Oaks on top, 9-2.

"We're not exactly playing great right now," said Michael Kelleher, the Randolph manager.
