Behind a fine performance from Chris Lutz, the Walnut Park Bobcats knocked off the Randolph Prairie Thunder, 6-2. Lutz went 2-4 with 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice for the Bobcats. Julian Bryant, who went 8 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 2 runs on 3 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 8. His record now stands at 9-6. Walnut Park is now 53-38, while Randolph is 46-45.

Walnut Park took a 6-2 lead on Lutz's 22nd home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which he hit off Tony Espinoza in the top of the eighth, propelled Walnut Park to the win.

"I'm not out there for personal accomplishments," Lutz told a Walnut Park Gazette reporter after the game. "I'm out there to help the team win, and that's what we did today."
