Rodriquez Whacks 2 Home Runs in 6-1 Win
Denver beat Spokane in a rain-soaked ballgame.

The Denver Pilots finished off the Spokane Selects, 6-1. Much of the credit belonged to center fielder Dillon Rodriquez. Rodriquez belted 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice for the Pilots. Chris Anderson snagged the win in relief. He goes to 4-0 on the season. Danny Cusack suffered the loss.

Denver took a 5-0 lead on Rodriquez's 5th home run of the season. The grand slam home run, which he hit off Hugo Reyes in the bottom of the sixth, propelled Denver to the win.

"It was a good win," said Denver manager Byung-sik Lee. "Not without blemish, but good."

With the win, the Pilots hiked their record to 47-44.
