The Westwood Bruins faced a tough opponent in Spokane pitcher Moises Gonzalez, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Selects Ballpark by a final score of 6-3. Gonzalez went 5 innings and allowed 2 runs. Lorenzo Landin earned his 8th save in 9 chances. With the win, Westwood pushed its record to 52-37.

Joel Patrick had a clutch at-bat with no one out in the top of the sixth for the Bruins. Coming up with the bases loaded and Westwood trailing 1-0, he hit a 2-run single.

"I still think this team can play even better," Patrick told the Westwood Today.
