At Knights Ballpark, the Ann Arbor Z's and Hickory Crawdads were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

Right-hander Adam Hazen mesmerized the Ann Arbor Z's while leading the Hickory Crawdads to a 3-0 victory. Hazen, now 1-3, was the winner. In 5 innings, he gave up 3 hits, while striking out 4, walking 0, and allowing no runs.

Hickory designated hitter Billy Totten helped his team get ahead early. In the top of the first, with the bases loaded, he hit a sacrifice fly.

Hickory manager Ray Sanchez commended his team for exhibiting "no shortage of effort."
