The Quebec Fighting Quakers beat the Orono Oaks, 5-1, at Toros Ballpark. Starting pitcher Ray Fight was a big reason why. He held his opponent in check all game. The Fighting Quakers now have a record of 46-44 with the win over Orono.

The Fighting Quakers got a big at-bat from catcher Sam Neeley. For the game, Neeley went 1 for 5 with a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the second, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 8th double of the season gave Quebec a 3-1 lead.
