Quebec Fighting Quakers starter Isaiah Singletary found his groove in his team's 8-4 win over the New Rochelle Purple Wave. With the win over New Rochelle, the Fighting Quakers improved to 50-35.

Sam Neeley went 2 for 5 with 2 singles for Quebec. The 24-year old catcher had a key at-bat in the top of the third. With two out and a runner on 2nd, he broke a 3-3 tie with a run-scoring single off Ron Lombardi. It was his 60th hit of the season.

"Isaiah -- his tempo and rhythm were good," said Fighting Quakers manager Jeff Gray. "He was the key to us winning."
