Jake Hoffmann left his imprint on the 8-2 Orono win against the Hickory Crawdads. Hoffmann was 2-4 with a home run, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. The winning pitcher was Dave Figley. He's now 2-1. He went 6 innings, allowing 1 run on 6 hits for the Oaks. Jordan Green got credit for the save for Orono. It was his 4th of the year.

Sean Dowling had a big 2-run double for the Oaks in the bottom of the third inning. With Orono leading 2-1 and the bases loaded, he got a changeup from Ricardo Martinez, who is tied for 9th in the StC with a 8.7 K/9 rate, and swatted a double to left. It was his 11th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Oaks ahead, 4-1.

"Our guys are never satisfied," said Orono manager Mike Barriga.
