Fighting Quakers Get One-Run Win at Hickory
The Quebec Fighting Quakers picked up a win at Crawdad Park, dropping the Hickory Crawdads, 3-2. Miguel Berrios, who is tied for 4th in the StC with a 8.1 K/9 rate, was the difference-maker. The winning pitcher was Berrios, now 6-3. He tossed 7 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 6. The first-place Crawdads dropped to 54-30.

Ben Leonardi, who is tied for 2nd in the StC in RBI with 66, contributed to the Quebec win with a solo home run in the top of the eighth. For the game, the designated hitter had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 1 RBI.
