Oaks Lose By a Run at Westwood
Westwood beat Orono at Jackie Robinson Stadium, eking out a 5-4 win. The win was due in large part to left fielder Dale Day. He was 2-4 with a home run. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Chris Porter, now 2-0, picked up the win in relief. He allowed 2 runs on 2 hits in 2.1 innings. The Bruins are now 43-37, while the Oaks fall to 43-37.

The Bruins got an important contribution from right fielder Sergio Portillo, who in the bottom of the second hit a fastball to center for a 2-run double. It was his 8th double of the season and put the Bruins ahead, 4-1.

"It's the best feeling when you come through for your teammates," said Portillo.
