The New Rochelle Purple Wave reigned over the Dillonvale Indians in damp conditions.

Due in large part to center fielder Dennis Quesada, the New Rochelle Purple Wave sunk the Dillonvale Indians, 6-1. Quesada was 2 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Blake Banks, the winner, improved to 7-5. He held the Indians to 1 run on 2 hits over 5.2 innings, while striking out 3 and walking 3.

The game turned with two out in the top of the fourth. That's when Quesada hit a grand slam home run off Braden Shaw. It propelled the Purple Wave into the lead, 5-1.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Quesada.

New Rochelle is now 36-43, while Dillonvale is 23-56.
