The Denver Pilots topped the Walnut Park Bobcats, 6-1, in Stripes Conference action at Pilots Ballpark. The game was highlighted by the performance of Denver designated hitter Gus Marquez. Denver pitcher Matt Dickson got the win. He's now 6-5. Jason Seymour was tagged with the loss. Earning his 1st save of the year was Billy Merner.

Robby Finkler contributed to the Denver win with a grand slam home run in the bottom of the eighth. For the game, the third baseman had 2 hits in 3 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 4 RBI.
