Dennis Quesada helped his team muscle past the Spokane Selects, 10-2. In the game, the New Rochelle center fielder belted 2 home runs. New Rochelle reliever Shane Edwards picked up the win, raising his record to 3-5. Dusty Nelson was tagged with the loss. The defeat makes Spokane 44-34.

Michael Nava came through with a big-time hit for New Rochelle. The pinch hitter smacked a grand slam home run in the top of the ninth inning to give his team the lead, 6-2. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"Our approach was just to try to see something over the plate and be aggressive," Quesada told the New Rochelle Today.
