Hickory Crawdads starter Dustin Patton pitched a strong game against the Dillonvale Indians at Crawdad Park, leading the Crawdads to victory, 4-3. With the win, Hickory raised its record to 47-31.

Jeremy Alfano, who is tied for 7th in the StC in RBI with 35, aided the Hickory cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the second baseman was 1 for 3.

"Dustin did a heck of a job," said Hickory manager Ray Sanchez.
