The Walnut Park Bobcats had to overcome a fine effort from Quebec pitcher Sean Torkelson to win, 3-2, in 10 innings at Ballpark of Walnut Park. Torkelson went 8 innings and allowed 1 run. Nate Ray earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. He upped his record to 1-0. The defining moment came in the bottom of the tenth for Walnut Park. That's when Ben Barbone hit a solo home run off 23-year old left-handed pitcher J.D. Pirillo to win the game. The home crowd went wild.
