The Ann Arbor Z's took Quebec pitcher Victor Herrera's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Knights Ballpark. The final score had Ann Arbor getting past the Fighting Quakers, 4-3. Herrera went 7 innings and allowed 1 run, striking out 3. The losing skid has reached 7 games for Quebec.

Bobby Tschida was the walk-off hero for Ann Arbor. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Z's second baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"I warned the team before the game," losing manager Jeff Gray told reporters, "that I'm wearing the same pair of undies until we win."
