Indians Collect 6-5 Win Over Oaks
The Dillonvale Indians faced a tenacious opponent in Orono pitcher Nick Calvache, but still scratched out a win at University of Maine Stadium by a final score of 6-5 in 11 innings. Calvache went 6.1 innings and allowed no runs. Nick Ashworth picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Chase Collins suffered the loss. Chris Gibbons closed the game out for Dillonvale, earning his 1st save.

Dillonvale used a clutch hit from Jason Reiss to get the win. The designated hitter drilled a solo home run in the top of the 11th inning to put the Indians ahead, 6-5. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a doozy.

"We had situations where we should have got some runs in, but we didn't get the runs in," said losing manager Mike Sanchez.

The Indians now have a record of 16-59.
