Fighting Quakers Get Past Dillonvale, 6-5
The Quebec Fighting Quakers turned back the Dillonvale Indians, 6-5, at Toros Ballpark. Joe Tinson, in particular, had a fine performance. He went 1 for 1 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The Fighting Quakers improved to 44-29.

The game was decided with no one out in the bottom of the ninth. With Quebec trailing 5-4, Tinson jumped on a cutter from 23-year old right-handed pitcher Bill Roderick and hit a 2-run home run to right. With one swing, the Fighting Quakers had a walk-off win.

Tinson said this kind of win gives the team "a buzz."
