The Spokane Selects knocked off the Ann Arbor Z's, 6-4, at Knights Ballpark. Lee Muza was a big reason Spokane won. The left fielder was 2-2 with 2 singles and 3 walks. The winning pitcher was Tim Sindt. He tossed 120 pitches over 6 innings, allowing 3 runs on 7 hits. The win makes Spokane 41-31.
Marc McCain drove in one run for Spokane. With two out and the game tied in the top of the sixth inning, McCain, who is tied for 4th in the StC in triples with 4, had a clutch at-bat. Facing Ann Arbor hurler Jimmy Carr, he got hit by a pitch, driving in 1 run to give the Selects a 4-3 lead.
