Dillonvale Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
There was no shortage of dramatics at Black Diamonds Ballpark.

The Dillonvale Indians faced a tough opponent in Ann Arbor pitcher Jeff Mitchell, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Black Diamonds Ballpark by a final score of 2-1. Mitchell went 8 innings and allowed no runs. Even with the win, the Indians have a dismal 18-52 record.

Bruce Doherty was the walk-off hero for Dillonvale. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Indians right fielder hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.

Doherty told a Dillonvale Daily News reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
