Z's Get Past Randolph for 4-3 Win
Ann Arbor and Randolph duked it out and the Z's came out victorious.

Starting pitcher Scott White pitched well enough to help the Ann Arbor Z's beat the Randolph Prairie Thunder, 4-3. Brian Finkel, credited with the win in relief, is now 3-1. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1 innings.

Ann Arbor took advantage of an error in the bottom of the eighth inning. The game was tied, 3-3, when Chris Cumpston hit a run-scoring single that was misplayed. It put the Z's in front, 4-3.

"Throwing strikes was the main thing," White said.

Ann Arbor currently is in first place in the Stripes Conference East Division at 40-27.
