Raccoons Net 4-2 Win Over Aces
|
The Tucson Raccoons topped the Quebec Aces, 4-2, the lion's share of the credit going to second baseman Matt Evert. On the day, Evert was 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk for the Raccoons. The last-place Raccoons bumped their record to 27-42.
Dan Wheeler, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2021 draft, had a direct impact on the outcome. Wheeler contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the sixth inning to put Tucson up, 4-2.
