Bruins Rally to Nose Past Palm Springs
The Westwood Bruins outlasted T.J. Cray and the Palm Springs Heat, 9-8, in 10 innings. Cray was impressive in the loss. The Palm Springs designated hitter was 4-5 with a home run and 3 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 5. Justin Weil, 1-0, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. Earning his 2nd save of the year was Lorenzo Landin.

Raheem Rogers came through with a big-time hit for Westwood. The pinch hitter smacked a solo home run in the top of the tenth inning to give his team the lead, 9-8. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
