Purple Wave Pick Up 2-1 Win Against Dillonvale
The New Rochelle Purple Wave picked up a win at Ballpark of Lexington, knocking off the Dillonvale Indians, 2-1. Starting pitcher Kevin Clinger played a key role in the triumph. Getting the save was Ron Lombardi, his 3rd. New Rochelle raised its record to 32-29 with the win.

Travis Stroupe, who is tied for 10th in the StC with a .292 batting average, chipped in a 2-run home run for New Rochelle in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the third baseman had 2 hits in 3 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 runs batted in.
