Aces Lose to Heat in Walk-Off
The Quebec Aces went down to defeat to Tom Thompson and his Palm Springs teammates. The final score was 4-2, in favor of the Heat. The Heat sport a record of 24-35.

Palm Springs got a knockout punch from Troy Hermann. The shortstop hammered a 2-run home run in the bottom of the 14th inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"It was our day today," Hermann told the Palm Springs Today. "But we've got to keep our nose to the grindstone."
