Quebec right-hander Isaiah Singletary pitched his team to victory over the Hickory Crawdads at Toros Ballpark. The final score was 5-3. Brian Hammond recorded the save, his 11th. The win lifted the Quebec record to 37-23.

The Fighting Quakers had to work out of trouble with one out in the top of the ninth. The score was 5-3, Quebec. But Hickory, with a runner on 1st, had mounted a threat. Jeff Greathouse dug in at the plate. But on a first pitch cutter, Greathouse hit into a double play.
