Bobcats Earn 3-2 Win Versus Purple Wave
|
The New Rochelle Purple Wave got a sterling performance from pitcher Kyle Griffin, but the Walnut Park Bobcats still prevailed, 3-2. Griffin threw 6.2 innings of 5-hit ball. The Purple Wave, now 30-29, have lost 5 straight.
Jared Kessler delivered a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the ninth to win it for the Bobcats. For the game, Kessler drew 1 walk.
