Bruins Roll to 8-1 Win Over Purple Wave
The Westwood Bruins licked the New Rochelle Purple Wave, 8-1. Paul Tetzloff deserved a big chunk of the credit. The first baseman went 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Bruins. With the win, Westwood has a record of 32-25. New Rochelle falls to 30-27.

Westwood used a big swing from Tony Thomas to get the win. The center fielder walloped a 3-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Bruins up, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it changed the outcome.

"I think we did a good job of looking for pitches we wanted to hit and put good swings on them," said Westwood skipper Hasan Raif.
