Walnut Park left fielder Justin Bobb contributed significantly to his team's 8-5 win over the New Rochelle Purple Wave. Bobb, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2021 draft, went 2 for 5 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Bobcats. Sean Rosato earned his 5th save, after closing out the game. The win for the Bobcats raised their record to 34-23.

Fernando Espindola hit a 2-run triple off Kosuke Sakai in the top of the first, which put the Bobcats in front, 2-0. Espindola had 1 walk, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 1 for 3.

"It's nice to step up when your team needs you," said Espindola.
