Aztecs Topple Partons with Late Rally
The Mexico City Aztecs downed the Dollywood Partons, 5-2. The hitting star was right fielder Tony Thomas. Thomas was 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 for the Aztecs. With the victory, the Aztecs upped their record to 58-35.

Thomas had a game-changing home run in the top of the eighth. On a first pitch fastball from Scott Sauer, he banged a solo home run to left, giving the Aztecs a 3-2 lead. It was the 31st home run of the year for Thomas.

"We're playing like we're capable of," said Mexico City manager Tony Velez.
