Kalamazoo Falls Again, 3-1

The Dollywood Partons downed the Kalamazoo Comets, 3-1, at Dolly Parton Ballpark. The Partons were led by Jesus Garciduenas. Garciduenas went 3 for 3 with a home run, a triple, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Picking up the win was Nick Kern. He went 7 innings, allowing 1 run on 3 hits. The right--hander struck out 1 and walked 3. Kalamazoo now owns a losing streak of 7 games.
Garciduenas contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Dollywood in the bottom of the third. With his team trailing 1-0, Garciduenas took a fastball from Quentin Dickson and stroked the home run to right. His 11th home run of the season allowed the Partons to leap in front, 2-1.
Dollywood manager Adam Freeman called it "a pretty good win."
