Jackson, Sweepers Too Much for Comets
The Nashua Sweepers captured an easy win, 12-4, over the Kalamazoo Comets at Wizards Stadium. Matt Jackson led the offensive barrage, going 3-for-4 for Nashua. The slumping Comets have lost 6 straight.

A key moment came with two out in the top of the fifth. That's when Jackson hit a fastball from Mike Gunter for a run-scoring single, putting Nashua up, 2-0.

"We're in a little funk right now and we've just got to get ourselves out of it," said Kalamazoo manager Morgan Van Dyke.
