Admirals Lose Late to Sweepers
The Louisville Sweepers locked up a win at Stadia de Leones, knocking off the Barrie Admirals, 5-2. On the mound for Louisville was left-hander Luis Torres. He played a major role in the triumph. Ken Yates picked up his 1st save of the season. The Admirals, at 63-30, have lost 4 straight games.

Louisville used a timely hit from Freddie James to get the win. The third baseman stroked a 2-run double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Sweepers ahead, 4-2. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it made an impact.

"You need to show up when your number's called," said James.
