The London Werewolves got a marvelous performance from pitcher Jim Autore. The left-hander kept the Bangor offense from ever getting much traction. The result was an impressive 5-2 London victory at Werewolves Ballpark. The winner was Autore. He threw 6.2 innings allowing 2 runs. The loser was Jamie Knudson. Ben Foster earned the save for London, his 24th.

London center fielder Verner Thunmark contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With two down, he hit a fastball to center field for a 2-run single. It was his 36th hit of the season and put the Werewolves ahead, 5-0.

Autore attributed the win to his team's "grittiness."

The win for the Werewolves lifted their record to 50-41.
