Roy Garcia pitched a gem to lead Mexico City to victory over the Nashua Sweepers, 2-1. Omari Johnson picked up his 18th save of the season. Mexico City improves to 60-32 with the win. They lead their division by 4½ games.

Garcia, who leaned on his splitter, allowed 1 run on just 1 hit over 7.1 innings for the Aztecs. For the most part, Nashua hitters were simply overmatched.

"It's nice to get the results when you're feeling good and throwing the ball well," said Garcia after the game.
