Miller Park was the site of a competitive game between the Nashua Sweepers and Dollywood Partons.

The Dollywood Partons knocked off the Nashua Sweepers, 5-3, in Southern A action at Miller Park. Dollywood pitcher and Lanett, Alabama, native Nick Kern had an outstanding performance. With the win, Dollywood upped its record to 65-24.

Colby Freese contributed to the Dollywood win with a 2-run single in the top of the third. For the game, the designated hitter had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 3 RBI.

"We'll keep playing hard and let the chips fall where they may," said Dollywood manager Adam Freeman.
