Garcia Slugs Comets to 8-4 Win
The Kalamazoo Comets cut down the Columbus Bowsers by the score of 8-4, with the largest share of the credit going to designated hitter Miguel Garcia. Garcia was 2-5 with 2 home runs, while adding 6 RBI and scoring twice for the Comets. Kalamazoo reliever Carter Coccaro picked up the win, while Alex Lozada took the loss for Columbus. Kalamazoo is now 32-55, while Columbus is 45-42.

Early in the game, Garcia had a grand slam home run for Kalamazoo. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Comets on top, 5-1.
