Sweepers Come Back Late to Top Lumberjacks, 10-6
Ballpark of Bangor was the site for Southern A action featuring the Bangor Lumberjacks and Nashua Sweepers.

The Nashua Sweepers beat the Bangor Lumberjacks, 10-6, at Ballpark of Bangor. Carlos Ramos starred for Nashua. He went 2-4 with a double and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. The defeat makes Bangor 41-46.

The game was at a stalemate until third baseman Seth Gosselin came to bat in the top of the eighth. Facing Bangor pitcher Bobby Simpson, he hit a 1-1 changeup for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Nashua on top, 7-6.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Nashua manager Tony Allen.
