Bowsers Snatch Late Win
White Deer got a big-time effort from pitcher Dustin Mitchell, but it wasn't enough to keep the Columbus Bowsers from winning the game, 4-2. Mitchell threw 7.0 innings of 3-hit ball for the losing team. Columbus reliever Brian Ashley got the win, raising his record to 6-5. Adam Hinton was tagged with the loss. The Bowsers now own a record of 47-42.

Columbus used the clutch hitting of Devin Guilmette to capture the win. The pinch hitter drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Bowsers ahead, 3-2. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a big one.

Columbus manager Joe Mills commended his team for "doing what it takes to win."
