Storm Come Up Short at Dollywood, 5-4
Fans watched the Dollywood Partons and the Lake Elsinore Storm fight to the finish.

The Dollywood Partons dealt the Lake Elsinore Storm a 5-4 loss at Dolly Parton Ballpark. Paul DeVaul, who is tied for 9th in the S-A in RBI with 57, was the star on offense. He went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. Sean Hill earned the save for Dollywood, his 18th.

Dollywood went up, 5-4, on Franklin Cortes's 10th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Cortes hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Lake Elsinore pitcher Jeff Moore muttering to himself.

"It's nice to deliver when your team's counting on you," said DeVaul.
