In a tight tilt between the London Werewolves and the Atlanta Aggies, Tyler Huewe was the deciding factor. The London left-hander spearheaded the 3-1 win. Huewe yielded no runs over 5.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 6 hits, walked 1, and struck out 6. His record improves to 9-3. Kevin Farris was credited with the save for London, his 14th of the season.
In the bottom of the fourth, London shortstop Shinichi Ota had a run-producing at-bat. Facing Atlanta hurler Victor Montoya, Ota grounded out, driving in 1 run. That made the score 2-0, London. For the day, Ota went 2-4 with a double.
"Tough loss," said Atlanta manager Jeremiah Simpson. "But we'll learn from it."
The Werewolves now have a record of 58-26 with the win over Atlanta.
