Pueblo Heroes starter Brad Scioli pitched his team past the Kalamazoo Comets, 4-1. Brad Christiansen earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 1.1 innings. His record is now 3-1. Dallas Price earned the save for Pueblo.
Alex Mieles hit a 2-run double off Mike Gunter in the bottom of the sixth, which put the Heroes in front, 3-1. In addition to the double, Mieles had 1 single, while going 2 for 4.
"We came out on top and that's all I can ask for," said Scioli.
The last-place Comets have dropped 4 straight games.
