The Barrie Admirals faced a tough opponent in London pitcher Frank Rivera, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Stadia de Leones by a final score of 6-5. Rivera went 7.1 innings and allowed 3 runs. Barrie reliever Billy Shields picked up the win, upping his record to 5-2. John Savage took the loss. Barrie now has a record of 61-25 with the win.

Barrie got a clutch hit from Justin Cole. The pinch hitter launched a 2-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a kill shot.

"I'm just looking to see the ball, hit the ball," said Cole.
