The Dollywood Partons and London Werewolves completed their game despite the rain.

The Dollywood Partons topped the London Werewolves, 5-2, in Southern A action at Dolly Parton Ballpark. The game was highlighted by the performance of Dollywood pitcher Adam Hazen. Hazen, the winner, moves to 4-2. He threw 5.2 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 5 and giving up 3 walks.

Dollywood took the lead, 5-1, on Colby Freese's 18th home run of the season. The 3-run home run came off London pitcher Brian Bauer in the bottom of the eighth.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Freese.

The Partons, at 63-21, have a comfortable 17½-game lead in their division.
