Getting offensive support from John Lendon, the Nashua Sweepers topped the Columbus Bowsers, 7-3. Lendon went 2-4 with a double, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Sweepers. The winning pitcher was Jonathan Weaver. His record now stands at 2-2. The right-hander went 7.1 innings, allowing 3 runs on 5 hits for the Sweepers. The win puts Nashua at 30-52.
With the game tied, 3-3, in the bottom of the sixth, Lendon had a key at-bat for Nashua. With the bases loaded, Lendon hit a 2-run single off Scott Chrysler, making the score 5-3, Sweepers.
