Heroes Earn Late Win
The Pueblo Heroes weathered an outstanding game by Columbus catcher Dave Puskas to topple the Bowsers, 6-5. Puskas went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. William Hudgins picked up the win in relief for Pueblo, while Jamie Licht took the loss. Dallas Price was credited with the save for Pueblo, his 3rd of the season.

Pueblo took a 6-5 lead on Nate Cobb's 11th double of the season. The 2-run double, which Cobb hit in the top of the ninth, left Columbus pitcher Jamie Licht visibly frustrated.

"Glad to go home with a win," said Cobb.

The 4th-place Heroes improved to 42-39.
