Despite a great performance by Lake Elsinore second baseman Roberto Vigueras, the Barrie Admirals defeated the Storm by the score of 6-5 at Dust Devils Ballpark. Vigueras went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2. Picking up the win was Raul Cisneros. He went 6.2 innings, allowing 5 runs on 10 hits. The left--hander struck out 5 and walked 1. Picking up the save was 21-year old left-handed pitcher T.J. Huckaby.

In the top of the 3rd, Barrie took the lead on a 2-run single by Cole Roth. At the time, the Admirals were trailing 3-2, but Roth's hit with two outs against Lake Elsinore pitcher Felix Acosta put them in front, 4-3.

"The bar for us is not a particular opponent, it's ourselves," said Barrie manager Manny Uset.

With the win, Barrie upped its record to 55-28.
