Bowsers Come Up Short at Lake Elsinore, 6-5
Jamie Hickey was a major factor in the 6-5 Lake Elsinore win over Columbus. The Storm shortstop was 2-4 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Jon Caruso closed out the game, earning his 1st save. The 5th-place Storm own a record of 18-62.

Lake Elsinore took a 6-3 lead on Hickey's 16th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which he hit off Brent Conway in the bottom of the seventh, propelled Lake Elsinore to the win.

"Our approach was just to try to see something over the plate and be aggressive," Hickey told the Lake Elsinore Chronicle.
