The Bangor Lumberjacks picked up a win at Werewolves Ballpark, knocking off the London Werewolves, 5-3. Starting pitcher Chris Hawes was a big reason why. Justin Cox nailed down the save. Bangor has won 5 straight, while London has lost 3 in a row.

In the top of the third inning, right fielder Chris Wunderlich had a 2-run home run for Bangor. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Lumberjacks on top, 2-1.
